The demand for nature center employees and other environmental educators to convey information in a digital format is only getting stronger. Luckily, there are many easy and affordable ways for even the beginning filmmaker to create professional looking and dynamic content! Join ecoEXPLORE staff as they share the tips and tricks that they have learned to make their videos stand out. Topics will include writing, filming, and editing, the creation of animated sequences, and best practices for finding resources such as stock videos, images, and music. Following direct instruction, video examples and small group discussions, you will walk away with the skill set to create one-of-a-kind videos made specifically for your intended purposes!

21st Century EE Skills is a series of short workshops (2hours each) to help educators build the "other duties as assigned" that have now become integral to their jobs either as professional educators or program managers. These workshops go beyond an informational webinar, offering interactive, in-depth explorations of a single topic. This workshop series will be held by the Environmental Educators of North Carolina (EENC) in partnership with the North Carolina Association for Environmental Education Centers (NCAEEC).
