Join the Western section of EENC for a day of exploring! We will be hosting a guided hike through Pink Beds trail in Pisgah National Forest in Brevard. This hike is an easy, flat trail with lots of wildlife and interesting plants to see along the way! After the hike, an optional guided tour through the Cradle of Forestry will also be offered.

We will meet at 11:00 A.M. at the Pinks Beds trailhead, and wrap up around 2:00 P.M. Be sure to bring lunch, snacks, water, and anything else you need to be comfortable outside. During the hike we will be exploring a mountain bog habitat. Bring shoes that can get wet and muddy.

Families from across the state are welcome!

Are you working on E.E. certification? This event can count towards criteria two and three of your certification!

Registration and an $8 program fee is required. All participants over age 5 must register. All participants must be able to walk/travel 3 miles on an unpaved trail.

Update: Registration is full!  Check back in the future for other events from EENC.

EENC is following all CDC Covid guidelines. In order to attend, all participants must wear a mask, follow social distancing guidelines, and pass a health screening. We will be limiting this event to 20 people, so hurry and register today.
