Come hang out with EENC's Central Section for an evening paddle from 5pm-7pm at the Weaver Creek region of Jordan Lake. This area is free of motorized boats and jet skis and is the perfect location to commune with nature and your fellow environmental educators. This will be a great opportunity to get some socially-distant face time with people you'll meet - or would normally see! - at EENC's annual conference.
This is a family event, so feel free to bring your kiddos and significant others. Got a canoe or kayak of your own? Feel free to bring it (no charge). Frog Hollow Outdoors will be providing 2-person canoes (which is big enough to put a kid in the middle), and single-person kayaks, along with life jackets and paddles. Your EENC membership pays off because there is a $15 discount for EENC members! Each boat is $25 per member, $40/non-member. This is a great opportunity to recruit your peers and co-workers to the EENC family! No charge if you bring your own boat. The deadline to register is Midnight on Monday, September 14. You can pay by check or cash at the event.
