A Shared Narrative in COVID-19 and Beyond (Rethink Outside Webinar)

  • 11 Jun 2020
  • 2:00 PM

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought new attention to the value of time spent outdoors, elevating the connections between nature and health and further exposing inequities in access to healthy, safe outdoor environments. As we respond to the impacts of this crisis and begin to look toward recovery, how can we ensure that equitable access to nature and meaningful outdoor experiences is prioritized as a necessity, not a nicety?

This webinar will feature opportunities for organizations to message the importance of their work during COVID-19 and beyond through the Rethink Outside shared narrative. Participants will review a new messaging brief connecting the tested values of Rethink Outside with the current public conversation on health, economic impacts, and rebuilding communities, with guidance on communicating effectively in a crisis. This webinar will include real-life examples from organizations and practitioners utilizing the Rethink Outside shared narrative during these unprecedented times and information on upcoming opportunities for funders and nonprofits to participate in Rethink Outside.

This webinar, hosted by Blue Sky Funders Forum, is free and open to all. To register click here.
