The Guidelines for Excellence is a series of materials to help environmental educators hone their practice and programs to national standards for high-quality EE programming.
This workshop will specifically support Early Childhood educators! It will focus on the "Early Childhood Environmental Education Programs" and "Materials" Guidelines. For more information on the Guidelines for Excellence, please visit https://naaee.org/our-work/programs/guidelines-excellence.
During the workshop participants will explore the Guidelines through a series of activities. Some activities will show participants how they can use the guides in their program development, while other activities will demonstrate how participants can use the guidelines to evaluate the programs and resources they are currently using or presenting.
